Connecting the next generation of polyurethane professionals with the industry
New for UTECH Europe 2027, UTECH Europe: Next Generation will give university and higher education students an opportunity to discover the polyurethane industry, explore the latest technologies and meet the companies and people shaping its future.
Students will be able to follow a self-guided route through the exhibition, available via the show app, with educational stops at participating exhibitor stands. Companies can showcase their technologies and processes, introduce students to career opportunities and share insights into the wide range of roles available across the polyurethane industry.
They will also have the opportunity to stop at the PU Surgery and pose their questions about the industry and polyurethanes to the experts.
The initiative will also recommend selected conference sessions and opportunities for students to hear directly from industry leaders and policymakers.
Celebrating the next generation
The UTECH Europe Awards 2027 have introduced a new Rising Star category, recognising an emerging talent who is making an impact in the polyurethane industry. The award will shine a spotlight on the people who represent the future of the sector and complement UTECH Europe’s wider Next Generation initiative.
Complimentary Next Generation Conference Pass: available to currently enrolled undergraduate, master’s and full-time PhD students. Proof of current enrolment required.
Academic & Research Pass: available at a 50% discount to postdoctoral researchers, research fellows, lecturers, professors and other employees of recognised universities and non-commercial research institutions.
